I can see my teachers using this to collaborate with other teachers from different schools and allowing their students to post replies to each other. I would like my teachers to use this to reinforce writing with their students. I think this would be great way for teachers to communicate with their students on a variety of assignments.

I think it will help stimulate and motivate my students, who are so adept at technology. I will need to overcome some technology limitations for myself and in regard to our high school's main server. I will need to become more familiar with blogging and podcasting, which requires time away from other duties.

I plan to support teachers and students in using blogs. I also hope to get some ideas of how I can use blogging.

It would be a great motivator for students to use to write what they have learned in Social Studies or even to post a question they might have in order to get a response from other areas. I would like to be able to connect with other teachers and see what they are doing or how they feel about what they teaching. My main obstacle would be getting the technology to work properly and the given time.

I think that students would enjoy blogging. It is a way to utilize how someone might think but not say. Teachers can get feedback from all their students not just the ones that raise their hands in class. Teachers can collaborate and discuss ways to help their students be successful in the world today. Let us look at the world today. Most students have already been exposed to blogs and understand how to use them. Teachers need to move forward to help their students be safe with what the students are probably aready using. Assignments can be posted and turned in for the students and teachers to use.

In social studies I would like to use blogging with my students as a source of home work assignments, make up work, and to also elaborate on some of the more important parts of the items we study. The main obstacles I will face will probably be getting students to the computer lab on a regular basis. To be successful I feel our server may be our biggest challenge.

I would like to use this to incoroporate writing and science. Science is based on research and getting the kids to start researching subjects and commenting on them is one goal. I also think collaborating with other schools about scientific problems would be a very beneficial learning experience.
Some obstacles would be the lack of technology and time to teach proper use of it is a main concern. The technology we do have is not very current. To be successful, I will need to have more access to computers for the students and time to practice and research other ways to use it in the science classroom
